I want to stand up for local people, and get involved with your campaigns to improve our communities.

Recent campaigns that I have led;

Bus route victory on the Foxyards. After residents told me getting a bus service for the estate was their number one priority, I worked with local Councillors Alan Finch, Margaret Aston and Ken Finch to launch a petition and campaign.  I met with the Chief Executive of Centro to discuss this, and the 224 bus service was introduced shortly afterwards.

Tough new measures on car clampers introduced by government.  When local people contacted me about out of control car clampers in Dudley, I campaigned for tough new laws to be introduced for greater restriction and regulation of private car clamping companies, and an end to extortion.

Council U-turn on grass cutting.  I got Dudley Council to cut grass outside pensioner’s homes after they were told to fend for themselves despite the Council having tended to the land for the last 40 years.

Current campaigns include:

 - Working with hundreds of local residents to have Dudley Council’s outrageous 1750% hike in leaseholder charges for tenants overturned.

 - Launched a petition which has been circulated and signed by concerned parents and residents to campaign for greater road safety outside Milking bank Primary School.

- Working with local community groups, residents and the police to get Gornal a ‘booze ban’ to clamp down on underage drinking and anti-social behaviour.
